MHA Golf Tournament At Majestic Oaks

All who attended had a fantastic time at the Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA) Golf Tournament Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake last week. This year TV land was the theme. Jeremy Beier, our Construction Project Mgr, donned a "Sam Malone" outfit from "Cheers." It was a super day for golf and to get out of the office!

Multi Housing Association Fundraiser With Team SERVPRO

The Multi Housing Association (MHA) provided a fundraiser for the People Serving People (PSP). PSP is a homeless shelter for NOT just individuals but entire families. These families are unemployed and homeless, in need of help. The theme for the fundraiser was Margaritaville. We partnered up with others in the community and raised OVER $13K for those in need. Team SERVPRO is glad to have been able to help such a worthwhile cause in our community.

Fantastic Workshop Event with SALES GURU Brent Wildman

Thank you to all of the agents who came to SERVPRO of Coon Rapids / Central Anoka County's workshop this week with Sales guru Brent Widman!  We had a packed house at the Hopkins Fire Department and great food supplied by Q Fanatic!  Keep a close eye out for additional upcoming workshops!

We had the great pleasure of attending the Sherman Associates Annual Property Management Meeting. Our crew got to chat with members of the Sherman Property Management and Maintenance team. Our team at SERVPRO of Coon Rapids / Central Anoka County had a blast, and we enjoy attending community events.

Hearts & Hammers Program Day 2017

A couple of our SERVPRO team members (Scott Clemente, Janet Phillips, and Ryan) volunteered at the recent Hearts and Hammers program day. Hearts & Hammers is a non-profit organization that provides exterior home improvement assistance for senior and disabled homeowners so that they may continue living independently. Assistance is provided at no cost to homeowners in need! Our employees enjoyed the experience of helping others and look forward to volunteering again next year. SERVPRO of Coon Rapids / Central Anoka County is always happy to support the local charities in our community. 

Social Media and the Millennial Generation

Our local SERVPRO owner Scott held a “lunch time workshop"  for insurance agents. We talked about how direct mail does not work as well when marketing to the millennial generation in todays world. We shared how businesses can use a few new and easy to implement Facebook strategies to potentially reach new customers.  Social Media and the Millennial Generation is reshaping marketing as we know it. SERVPRO Supports The Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce

SERVPRO of Coon Rapids / Central Anoka County Come was happy to support the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce "After Hours" social event. Local business leaders, chamber members and guests enjoyed complimentary appetizers, beer and wine. Sponsors included Farmers Insurance Agency and the host of the event Regus in Eden Prairie. It was a perfect opportunity to re-connect with the local business community. The chamber vision is to impact our community by promoting commerce, and by enhancing our members' business success through leadership, partnership and growth opportunities. Door prizes included an Amazon Echo Bluetooth speaker and a Kindle Fire. SERVPRO of Coon Rapids / Central Anoka County is a leader in water, fire and mold restoration. 

Minnesota Hospitality Conference & Expo Event

Scott Clemente, the franchise owner of SERVPRO of Coon Rapids/Central Anoka County, will be presenting at the Minnesota Hospitality Conference & Expo on September 22, 2016, at Rivercentre in St. Paul. His ‘Disaster Recovery Starts With Planning’ education session will be from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM and will go over commercial water damage and restoration. You will learn how to limit disruptions to your operations and avoid potential concerns with mold. The session is free, but registration is required. We hope to see everyone there! 

Customer Appreciation Day ... and Burn Box Demonstration

SERVPRO of Coon Rapids/Central Anoka County built the 2 burn boxes in the photo for the local Fire Departments. During our Customer Appreciation Day celebration, we hosted the Hopkins Fire Department, Minnetonka Fire Department and St. Paul Fire Department. The Fire Boxes are reusable so local fire departments can reuse them for educating the public and demonstration purposes. Only one of the boxes have a sprinkler head. They are set on fire simultaneously and you can see how quickly the fire spreads in the box with no sprinkler.
